Pomodoro Timer for Windows & Mac

Install it straight from your browser in two clicks. It opens in its own window like a native app and keeps running offline — no installer, no app store, no sign-up.

Desktop and laptop only, for now

It's a web app (PWA), and on phones and tablets the experience is genuinely poor: mobile browsers can freeze the timer, drop notifications or keep the alarm from ringing. We strongly recommend using it on a desktop or laptop.

Why install it

The same timer, one click closer

🪟

Its own window

No more hunting through tabs: it lives in your taskbar or dock, and Alt+Tab or Cmd+Tab takes you straight to it.

📴

Works offline

The timer, your tasks and settings open without a connection. Only the lofi music needs the internet, since it streams.

✨

Nothing to update

No installer and no patches: when a new version is ready, the app offers a one-click reload.

Windows · macOS · Linux · ChromeOS

Install it on your computer

Chrome, Edge and other Chromium browsers install it in two clicks.

01

Open in your browser

Visit the timer in Chrome, Edge or another Chromium browser on your desktop.

02

Click install

Hit the install icon in the address bar — or the button above where it’s supported.

03

Launch anywhere

It lands in your dock or taskbar and opens like a native app, online or off.

No install icon? Open your browser menu and choose “Install app” or “Add to Home Screen”.

Other browsers & devices

Safari, Firefox and phones

🍎

Safari on Mac

On macOS Sonoma or later, open the File menu and choose Add to Dock.

🦊

Firefox on desktop

Firefox can't install web apps on the desktop yet. Open this page in Chrome, Edge or Safari to install it — or pin the timer as a tab.

📵

Phones & tablets

Not recommended yet — the mobile experience is poor. If you still want it: in Safari on iPhone or iPad, tap Share › Add to Home Screen; on Android, open the browser menu › Install app.

FAQ

Desktop app questions

Yes — this one, and it's free. Install it from Chrome or Edge and it runs as a desktop app on Windows, with its own window and taskbar icon. The same works on macOS, Linux and ChromeOS.
